Cycle Race Tek Suspension

Cycle Race Tek offers an extensive suspension set-up service for our customers and their skoots. Proper suspension set-up for the rider's weight and riding style will greatly enhance the ride quality
and overall handling. We have found that stock suspension settings are not suitable for 99.9% of the riders out there. It is impossible for the factory to supply "one size fits all" suspensions,and we have found major mismatches in front and rear suspension settings which will at times seriously compromise suspension compliance and the overall feel and handling of the skoot.
We offer 4 stages of suspension services to suit the various needs and pocketbooks of our customers.
Here are the stages and explanations for each one.

STAGE 1 .....$125
This stage is for skoots that have no mechanical or excess friction problems with the suspension. The skoot will be inspected to insure this stage is appropriate.
INCLUDES
Tire pressure check and adjustment as necessary. Inspection of tire condition and selection to help determine if changes/replacements are to be made.
Rear chain and sprocket inspection,lubrication,chain adjustment and axle alignment.
Measurements and adjustments as needed for proper suspension sag, limited to stock adjustment range.
Compression and rebound adjustments as needed .
LIFETIME readjustments of stock components to the original purchaser of this service.

STAGE 2.....$175
This stage is for skoots that need no obvious mechanical repairs,but have a somewhat common problem of excess front fork friction, which hinders front fork operation, and prevents accurate adjustments to the suspension.
INCLUDES
3 proven methods to minimize front fork friction in undamaged forks. If these methods do not correct the excess friction problem, then this stage cannot be
completed and further inspection/repair to the forks may be necessary.
Tire pressure check and adjustment as necessary.inspection of tire condition and selection to help determine if changes/replacements are to be made.
Rear chain and sprocket inspection,lubrication,chain adjustment and axle alignment.
Measurements and adjustments as needed for proper suspension sag, limited to stock adjustment range.
Compression and rebound adjustments as needed .

STAGE 3.....$225-$250
This stage is performed only on skoots that have been inspected and found to have absolutely no repair/defect issues and of course have properly functioning suspensions.
INCLUDES
Readjustments of front and rear ride height within limits of stock adjustability.raising and lowering of the front and rear ride height can alter steering and handling characteristics,and our aim is to taylor the handling characteristics to the rider's preference. This is accomplished by fork tube position changes, and by adjusting rear shock length or mounting point adjustments on skoots with adjustable shock mounts. 3 proven methods to minimize front fork friction .

PLEASE NOTE...stages 1,2, and 3 are drive in/drive out services in which owner presence is required. An appointment is necessary for these services.

At times we have found that within the limits of stock suspension adjustably we cannot achieve proper suspension settings.this may be due to old or worn out components, old suspension fluids or the riders weight( that is,the rider being too light or too heavy). Any of these may require suspension servicing to rectify these problems.any and all of these will be discussed with the owner so the appropriate action can be taken.this may lead to our...

STAGE 4.....PRICES QUOTED ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS
This stage will include any and all modifications needed to have a custom suspension set-up for the skoot.the sky is the limit here, but mods may include revalving and spring changes to the front forks and an aftermarket rear shock.
